This piece has been a long time in the making and I am thrilled it is finally done. The learning curve was huge (pun intended) and I feel so much smarter now than when I started it. My original thought was that it would mimic a piece of ribbon undulating in and out of the ground. Don’t be embarrassed if you see a roller coaster though, many people have and despite the fact that I detest roller coasters, I tend to agree that there is a resemblance. But that’s the fun part of creating…seeing how everyone interprets it. In case you can’t fathom the dimensions, scroll down to the bottom of the page, my assistant Max helped me to show off how big it really is.

The neat thing about this piece is that I can make it be location sensitive. The possibilities are endless. I could make it wrap around a tree, curve under (or over) a walkway, or come out of a window. It is really exciting to think of the fun ways that this could be designed for any location!
