Ribbon

This piece has been a long time in the making and I am thrilled it is finally done. The learning curve was huge (pun intended) and I feel so much smarter now than when I started it. My original thought was that it would mimic a piece of ribbon undulating in and out of the ground. Don’t be embarrassed if you see a roller coaster though, many people have and despite the fact that I detest roller coasters, I tend to agree that there is a resemblance. But that’s the fun part of creating…seeing how everyone interprets it. The neat thing about this piece is that I can make it be location sensitive. The possibilities are endless. I could make it wrap around a tree, curve under (or over) a walkway, or come out of a window. It is really exciting to think of the fun ways that this could be designed for any location!
